Texas A&M University’s Department of Aerospace Engineering invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the 9-month appointment level of Assistant or Associate professor, beginning Fall 2027, with possible summer appointment.

Candidates with interests in space engineering, including space robotics, operations, orbital servicing, manufacturing, and spacecraft proximity operations, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• PhD in aerospace engineering or closely related field.
• Record of or potential for externally funded research.
• Experience developing and teaching aerospace engineering curricula.
• Appointment as tenure-track faculty at assistant or associate level.

Responsabilités

• Develop and teach courses in Space Engineering program.
• Advise and mentor graduate students.
• Establish an externally funded research program.
• Engage in department activities and professional service.
