Job summary

KBR's Space Domain Awareness Subject Matter Expert role is based in Northern Virginia and focuses on applying MS&A tools to inform Department of War planning, CONOPS development, and kill chain analyses. The candidate will lead small teams and collaborate with military domain SMEs to deliver high-impact outputs.

The position requires a strong background in US Space Force/USAF operations and space-based concepts, with MBSE experience and 14+ years in related work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 14+ years in US Air Force/Space Force or space-based operations architectures.
• Direct experience developing space-based CONOPS and operations in support of Joint or Service planning.
• JQO designation or equivalent military qualification.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork in expert-driven, multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge of space satellites, systems, sensors, and kill chain concepts to DoW planning.
• Transform doctrine and tactics into products informing simulation software.
• Develop space CONOPS for modelers and SMEs in MS&A environments.
• Lead small teams supporting the broader effort.
• Deliver written, visual, and analytical outputs for senior decision-makers.
