Job summary
Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking a qualified Post Baccalaureate Student to participate in the execution of space and ground-based programs. The selected candidate will join the Data Processing Tools & Management team within ISR-3 and contribute to development and deployment infrastructure for spacecraft data processing.
Qualifications include 2+ years in C/C++ and/or Python, Unix/Linux familiarity, and experience with SVN/Git/Mercurial.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of programming with C/C++ and/or Python.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS.
- Experience with SVN, Git, or Mercurial.
- Ability to work with scientific teams and communicate clearly.
- Bachelor's degree with GPA ≥3.0 and within 3 years of graduating.
Responsibilities
- Participate in execution of space and ground-based programs.
- Develop and maintain data processing software, pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
- Work on software development and systems engineering in support of space mission operations.
- Collaborate with ISR-3 team and communicate effectively.
