Job summary

Sigmatech, Inc. is seeking a Space Cybersecurity SME to support the Office of the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Cyber and Data (SF/S6). The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility and expert IT/cybersecurity knowledge in DoD space domains.

Responsibilities include assessing certifications, RMF, and coordinating risk assessments with USSF entities in the NCR. Ideal candidates will have a Systems or Network Admin background, familiarity with RMF for space systems, and experience

Qualifications

• Requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Expert knowledge of IT requirements and cybersecurity practices.
• Systems Admin or Network Admin background.
• Familiarity with Defense Space and National Security Space domains.
• Experience in cyber environments and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Document, coordinate, advise, assist, review, and inspect required cybersecurity assessments, processes, and artifacts.
• Conduct cybersecurity analysis of system certification and accreditation plans to ensure systems are properly certified and accredited according to current Cybersecurity Policy.
• Provide cybersecurity RMF research, analysis, and recommendations to assess and accredit emerging cybersecurity capabilities and methodologies including controls, monitoring and reporting on controls and mitigation actions.
• Submit Assessment Reports and associated cybersecurity control validation reports.
• Assess information security products and documents and interpret DoD, AF issuances.
• Coordinate with other USSF entities to complete cybersecurity risk assessments and/or in accomplishment of contract requirements.
• Schedule voice/data calls, meetings and conferences to support cybersecurity assessments and processes.
• Perform analysis services for USSF/S6 expertise, including planning objectives and requirements for test events, preparing documentation, and reporting results.
• Explore opportunities for integration of new technologies across DoD, IC, civil and commercial sources, including space with terrestrial/cyber capabilities.
• Analyze architectures to address future national security challenges and problems with materiel and non-materiel solutions.
• Provide analyses for Space, terrestrial, maritime, air and cyber capabilities; assess system of systems factors.
• Support USSF leadership and engagements in the NCR with mission partners.
• Serve as USSF representative to Pentagon building operations manager and coordinate maintenance.
