Job summary

Brevard Achievement Center is seeking a custodial team member to perform cleaning duties at Kennedy Space Center. The role reports to site custodial leadership and requires adherence to contracted cleaning methods.

The position involves cleaning offices and restrooms, trash disposal, supply stocking, and event setup as needed. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required
• Must pass a background screening for access to the work areas
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial work according to the specified contracted methods of cleaning.
• Cleaning responsibilities include: removal/disposal of trash, cleaning of offices (dusting, vacuuming, sweeping), restrooms (mopping, disinfecting, mirrors, partitions, toilets, sinks), and stocking paper/soap supplies.
• Properly dispose any hazardous waste material
• Maintain supplies and equipment under established procedures
• May be required to set up and break down tables and chairs for special events
• Workdays/hours may vary depending on operational needs
• Perform other specified custodial tasks as requested
