The Ascendancy Group is seeking a Space Analyst to conduct all-source analysis of foreign space capabilities and to help our customer understand how those capabilities affect operations. This is a full-time role contingent upon contract award, requiring active TS/SCI clearance.

You will analyze adversary space doctrine, assess vulnerabilities, and produce reports and briefings for planners and leadership, collaborating with engineers and scientists to understand evolving space technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience related to this labor category, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Knowledge of IC and DoW classification guidelines and procedures, and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
• Ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information, and to defend judgments with sound, logical conclusions.
• Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise reports, assessments, and briefing materials using Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with strong grammar skills.
• Ability to conduct structured research and maintain information within security and data protocols.
• Ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.

Current Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Requirements

Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience related to this labor category, with a portion of that experience within the last 2 years. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; 7 years of direct experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Working knowledge of the concepts and functions of this labor category.
• Knowledge of IC and DoW classification guidelines and procedures, and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to work semi independently with oversight and direction.
• Ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information, and to defend judgments with sound, logical conclusions.
