Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks an experienced massage therapist to provide a full range of modalities including Deep Tissue, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology. You will document client sessions and maintain pristine treatment rooms.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida massage license and at least two years of experience, delivers excellent customer service, and collaborates with spa staff to enhance guest wellness.

Qualifications

• Current valid Florida State Massage Therapist license required.
• Minimum 2 years massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs massage therapy and touch modalities, which include Deep Tissue, Sport, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology.
• Maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit.
• Conducts massage consultations, recommends stretches for clients at home.
• Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization.
• Arrives fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to stay fifteen (15) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client.
• Conducts massage therapy and massage modalities as listed in the Spa brochure and Spa Menu unless otherwise indicated by Spa Manager.
• Maintains and increases knowledge of massage therapy treatments by sharing technique skills with fellow massage staff during in-house instruction, and education/training classes provided by a Certified Massage Therapy Institution.
• Presents a professional, well groomed appearance; provided uniforms must be worn at all times in the Spa and must be laundered and pressed.

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides clients with a full range of massage modalities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs massage therapy and touch modalities, which include Deep Tissue,

Sport, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Prenatal and Reflexology. Hot Stone maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit.

• Conducts massage consultations, recommends stretches for clients at home

maintenance, and provides guidance and wellness advice to clients.

• Maintains the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking

products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces massage linens on tables so that the room ready for the next client.

• Arrives fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to

stay fifteen (15) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client.

• Conducts massage therapy and massage modalities as listed in the Spa

brochure and Spa Menu unless otherwise indicated by Spa Manager.

• Maintains and increases knowledge of massage therapy treatments by sharing

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

A current valid Florida State Massage Therapist license required. Prefer a minimum of 2 years of previous massage therapy experience.
