Job summary

Fouquet's New York is seeking a Professional Spa Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of the spa, locker rooms, fitness area, and pool. Located at the heart of Fouquet's New York, the spa offers five treatment rooms, a sauna and steam room, an indoor pool, and a cutting-edge fitness center with DOGPOUND.

Candidates must be able to communicate in English and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, with 1–2 years in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English
• One to two years in a similar role in a hospitality environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (AM, PM, Weekends & Holidays)
• Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 35 lbs
• This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of the spa/fitness area including spa, locker rooms, fitness room, and pool area
• Escorts members/guests to changing areas courteously
• Offers guests amenities such as water, juice, or special requests
• Keeps facility clean and orderly by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and taking out trash
• Distributes and places linens in treatment rooms, workout areas, closets, and dispensary
• Follows all company policies; ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Replenishes supplies as needed and maintains cleanliness across areas
• Interacts with customers positively and provides quality services
• Conducts spa walkthroughs to ensure common areas and rooms are clean
• Replenishes stock levels (robes, sandals, towels, dispensers) and maintains hygiene standards
• Attends hotel and spa fitness training sessions when requested by management
• Washes, dries and folds towels and maintains spa cleanliness
• Informs facility management of issues as they arise
• Performs other duties as assigned

Salary:$20 - $23 per hour

Dedicated to beauty, tranquility, and well-being, the spa is a peaceful haven away from the commotion of the city. Our partnership with Biologique Recherche, a cult skincare brand based in Paris, allows us to personalize treatments to each guest’s specific objectives and needs.

Located at the heart of Fouquet's New York, the spa’s facilities include five treatment rooms (including one for couples), a sauna and steam room, and an indoor pool. We also offer a cutting-edge fitness center, DOGPOUND, where the city’s top personal trainers can create a bespoke workout.

We are seeking a Professional Spa Attendant with a keen eye for detail. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spa/fitness area which includes the spa, locker rooms, fitness room, and pool area.

Responsibilities:

• The Spa Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spa/fitness area which includes the spa, locker rooms, fitness room, and pool area.
• Escorts members/guests to changing areas in a courteous and timely manner.
• Offer guests amenities such as water, juice, or any special requests.
• Maintains the cleanliness and order of the facility to include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and taking out the trash.
• Distributes and places linens in treatment rooms, workout areas, closets, and dispensary.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Ensures all areas are clean and replenishes supplies as needed.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
• Interact with customers in a positive manner and provide quality services to customers.
• Conduct spa walkthrough ensuring that common areas, locker rooms and treatment rooms are properly cleaned.
• Replenish stock levels to include refilling robes, sandals, bathroom towels, paper toilets, product dispensers, and buffet in the lounge.
• Maintain a spa facility tidy and clean based on the hygiene standards.
• Attend hotel and spa & fitness training sessions when requested by management.
• Wash, dry and fold towels and keep all the areas of Spa clean.
• Inform facility management of any member, guest, or facility issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
