Job summary

A leading agribusiness company is seeking an Operator Trainee in Destrehan, Louisiana. In this role, you will learn and oversee various functions of a soybean processing facility, ensuring food safety and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include operating equipment, reviewing logs, and performing quality tests. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a high school diploma or GED. This position offers a starting pay of $27.10 an hour and various benefits, including health plans and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow HACCP procedures.
• Experience as a process technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review shift logs and plant status throughout the workday.
• Operate and troubleshoot soybean processing equipment.
• Make regular process adjustments to maintain operating parameters.
• Collect and process quality product samples.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the plant.

Education
