Job summary

Perdue AgriBusiness seeks a Soybean Crush Operator to operate grain handling and oilseed processing equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality production. You will support meeting production targets and timely delivery to customers in a hands-on, industrial setting.

The position features a 12-hour rotating shift with a target wage of $21.00-$31.50 per hour, plus potential annual bonus and a competitive benefits package. Overtime may be available.

• Conduct quality checks.

• Perform general labor, housekeeping, and sanitation responsibilities as required.
• Follow safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
• Perform all work within CGMPs.

Summary

Be at the heart of production in a role that turns raw materials into essential products. As a Soybean Crush Operator, you will operate grain handling and oilseed processing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Your work will directly support meeting production targets and delivering products on time to our customers. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands on industrial operations, working with large scale equipment, and playing a key part in keeping supply moving reliably and efficiently.

This will be a 12 hour rotating shift.

This position has a target wage of $21.00 - $31.50 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Start up, operate, and shut down soy processing equipment.
• Conduct quality checks.

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on operating equipment.

• Perform all work within safety and environmental guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies.
• Perform job within established CGMP’s.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Education And Experience

• Strong reading, writing, math and analytical skills.

Preferred Education And Experience

• High School or GED preferred.
• 0 – 1 year of experience.

Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors

• Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds).
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
• Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.
