Job summary

Ag Processing Inc is hiring a shift supervisor at our soy processing facility in Hastings, NE. The role supports day-to-day operations, provides management oversight, trains staff, and ensures adherence to company policies and quality standards.

You will supervise plant workers, manage inventories of processing supplies, participate in meetings, and drive projects. Candidates should have supervisory experience, strong communication, and be organized, with willingness to work rotating day/night

• Knowledge of hazard communication standards and PSM, preferred.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
• Willing to work day, night and every other weekend on rotating 12 hour shift.
• Supervisory Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent is required. Technical degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support through supervising the plant workers' activities including training employees, determining methods for employee work, and scheduling.
• Monitor and maintain processing supply inventory through completing orders of supplies and documenting amount of supplies on hand.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Develop and manage projects as assigned.
• Attend company meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
