Job summary

ICF is seeking an experienced controls professional to join the Controllership office in Reston. The role focuses on managing internal controls, including ITGCs, and serving as the SOX liaison for audits and remediation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in SOX or internal audit for a public company, Big 4 background, and strong analytical and communication skills to effectively partner with senior leadership across a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or MIS or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SOX or internal audit for a public company.
• Previous Big 4 public accounting experience required.
• 2+ years with US GAAP and PCAOB auditing standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor design and operating effectiveness of key controls across the environment.
• Serve as the SOX liaison to auditors and external contractors.
• Assist with planning, scoping, and documentation updates for controls.
• Support quarterly deliverables like user access reviews and EAC monitoring.
• Highlight opportunities for continuous improvement in internal controls and data security.
