Job summary

Brivo is seeking a seasoned SOX/IA leader in Bethesda to own the SOX 404 readiness build and later establish the Internal Audit function under an audit-committee charter. You will shape the control environment, work with external auditors, and guide governance as the company moves toward listing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years across public accounting and/or internal controls/internal audit.
• Hands-on SOX 404 experience at public companies, including IPO readiness.
• CPA strongly preferred; CIA or equivalent credential considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead SOX 404 readiness and drive the control environment across functions.
• Own ITGC workplan, access management, and SoD for NetSuite.
• Build and execute risk-based internal audit plan and 404 testing.
• Stand up IA function under audit-committee charter; report cadence.
