Job summary

Realty Income Corporation seeks a Staff Internal Auditor to support the SOX program and advance AI-driven analytics across Internal Audit. You will conduct SOX testing, document controls, and help improve risk management inside a Fortune 500 REIT.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in public accounting, external audit, internal audit, risk advisory, or SOX compliance.
Experience performing SOX testing and evaluating internal controls.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related field.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
Pursuit of CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.

Responsibilities

Support SOX compliance program and related activities.
Maintain risk and control matrices, process narratives, and flowcharts for key business processes.
Conduct walkthroughs with business stakeholders to document processes and evaluate control design.
Perform SOX testing and assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
Coordinate document requests, manage testing timelines, and communicate with process owners.
Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in audits across the organization.
