Job summary

State of Michigan’s MDOT is seeking a Region Transportation Engineer 9–12 to perform maintenance, emergency management, and contract administration, guiding performance-based decisions and supporting winter operations, traffic and safety, construction, and materials tasks. Candidates must have a BS in engineering; a PE license may substitute for up to six months of experience.

A valid driver’s license is required, and transcripts may be requested with your application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required, or expected by Dec 31, 2026.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Professional Engineer license may substitute for six months of experience.
