AECOM is seeking a senior Southeast Ports Client Director to lead and grow its Ports & Marine business in the Southeast U.S. The role emphasizes building strong client relationships, leading major proposals, and shaping business plans to capture market opportunities.

The position requires extensive experience in ports/marine sectors, leadership of cross-functional teams, and a track record of winning and delivering complex projects. Relocation is possible and visa sponsorship may be available.

• Identify, position, plan and prioritize business development activities in the market and with clients.
• Influence and develop the Business Plan reflecting market growth potential and geographic competition.
• Identify key clients and pursuits; prepare client management plans and pursuit plans, maintaining a realistic pipeline of opportunities.
• Identify key teaming partners in each client’s geography and secure relationships to improve project outcomes.
• Create a strong client‑centric delivery culture.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, building trusted advisor status.
• Lead major Ports & Marine pursuit proposals and support other proposals.
• Support the Global Goods Movement sector in identifying, winning, and delivering major projects.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 12 years of related experience or equivalent, including 4 years of leadership.
• Ports & Maritime market experience in container, liquid bulk, dry bulk terminals, or waterfront infrastructure.
• Experience leading multi‑disciplinary project teams, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong client and stakeholder network within the industry to identify, win, and deliver projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership of a recognized professional body in an appropriate discipline.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline.

Additional Information

• Relocation is an option for this position.
• Sponsorship may be available for U.S. visa holders.

Compensation

USD 250,000 - USD 315,000 per year.
