Job summary

The Cumberland County School District is seeking an Elementary Teacher to support the instructional process by supervising students in the classroom and other assigned areas, developing lesson plans, and delivering group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines. Candidates must hold a valid Tennessee teaching license with Special Education endorsement.

This is a temporary position through February 2027 with no benefits.

• Collaborate with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators on instructional issues.
• Respond to inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress.

Job description

The job of Elementary Teacher was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding the instructional program and student progress.

Must hold a valid TN teaching license with Special Education endorsement

This is temporary position, with no benefits, through the end of February 2027.
