Job summary

BGE, Inc. is seeking a student intern in Austin to gain hands-on experience on civil engineering projects while being mentored by seasoned professionals.

You will participate in intern-specific activities and contribute to normal work activities, learning from experienced engineers and engaging in career development trainings. The internship emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the use of MS Office and industry software.

• Must be a full‑time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate on a team.

Requirements

• Must be full‑time student in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.


• Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry‑specific software.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.


• Strong collaborator who works well on a team.


• Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
