Cheeky is The Neighborhood Dining Group's newest concept in Charleston, SC, inviting a driven Sous Chef to lead a high-energy seafood kitchen and elevate craft with passion and hospitality.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef, uphold top standards, train staff, and ensure cleanliness and safety across all kitchen areas. This role offers growth within a nationally recognized restaurant group and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant, in a management or lead-line cook position.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Commitment to hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and strong team performance.
• Oversee cleanliness, organization, and safety in all kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, prep execution, and ordering.
• Maintain a hands‑on presence during all meal periods, including prep, service, and breakdown.
