Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned kitchen leader to direct a healthcare culinary team at Bon Secours St Marys Hospital of Richmond. You will recruit, train, and mentor staff while ensuring high-quality patient meals and strict safety standards.

The role emphasizes menu development, staff coordination, and ongoing quality improvements in a fast-paced hospital setting, with opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• A cook’s certificate or associate’s degree from an accredited culinary program, or 5+ years of experience as a sous chef or kitchen manager.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms.

Requirements

• A cook’s certificate or associate’s degree from an accredited culinary program, or 5+ years of experience as a sous chef or kitchen manager
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms
• A passion for food, a desire to grow, and a work ethic that supports both
• Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
• Not Required But a Big Plus: Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish
• Familiarity with OSHA, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory requirements
