Job summary

A senior living community in Newburgh, Indiana, is looking for a Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and ensure high-quality meals for residents and guests. Responsibilities include creating nutritious dishes, supervising kitchen staff in the absence of the Dining Director, and maintaining a positive environment for both staff and residents. The successful candidate should have previous Sous Chef experience, sanitation certification, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or kitchen supervisory experience preferred.
• Sanitation Certified (ServSafe) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• High volume production or catering experience is essential.
• Flexibility to accommodate residents and guests.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and team player.
• Available to work weekend and holiday rotation.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Sous Chef to assist with daily kitchen operations, creating high-quality nutritious meals and a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests. The sous chef serves as the kitchen lead and supervises all kitchen operations in the absence of the Dining Director.
