Otterbein SeniorLife in Michigan is seeking a Sous Chef to help manage the dining experience across campus communities. You will direct daily kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to policies and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will develop menus, mentor cooks, schedule shifts, and work hands-on with the Executive Chef to deliver high-quality meals and a compassionate dining experience for residents.
The Sous Chef position is responsible for helping Otterbein manage the overall dining experience of the campus. The position will manage all daily operations, including overall direction of kitchen staff. The position requires an individual who will carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Education: A degree in Culinary science or related certificate would be a plus.
Licensure: ServSafe certification.
Experience: 2 to 5 year’s cooking experience in LTC or similar setting preferred
