Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to lead daily kitchen operations and develop menus that balance flavor with cost in a high-volume hospital setting.

You'll coach hourly staff, execute catering events, and ensure organization, safety, and quality across meals that comfort patients and support clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent hands-on culinary experience.
• Progressive culinary experience with responsibility for kitchen operations or team leadership.
• Restaurant, hotel, resort, catering, or other high-volume foodservice experience welcomed.
• Strong cooking fundamentals and knowledge of food trends, menu development, and presentation.
• Experience with food production, ordering, inventory, and cost controls.
• Catering and large-volume food preparation experience are a plus.
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to communicate clearly and help others succeed.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and email.
• ServSafe certification highly desirable.

JOB SUMMARY

As Sous Chef, you’ll partner with the Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations, develop menus, and prepare food that looks as good as it tastes. You’ll help coach hourly team members, execute catering events, and keep the kitchen organized, safe, and running smoothly.
