Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team. You’ll lead kitchen staff, support menu development, and help maintain high standards across food preparation, sanitation, and production planning.

The role emphasizes teamwork, organization, and adherence to brand values, with opportunities for growth within Eat'n Park Hospitality Group. On-site duties require proactive supervision and quality control.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of culinary experience.
• High school or GED required.
• Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team management skills desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft software programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all culinary staff to ensure standards and quality are followed.
• Assist in purchasing food, paper, cleaning, bakery, and safety items within budgeted levels.
• Assist in menu development, organization and production sheets, and new recipe standards.
• Assist in regular inspections for sanitation, cleanliness, temperatures and use of checklists.
• Verify recipe standards and consistency to ensure quality product every time.
