Job summary

Valor Hospitality seeks a Kitchen Manager to lead daily production, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure safe, high-quality dining across all outlets. You will drive menu execution, collaborate with the executive chef on events, and uphold health and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have culinary credentials, strong leadership, and a proven track record in fast-paced hotel kitchen environments; this role offers growth and competitive benefits within a hotel setting.

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent with supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with health/sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Staff and operations management: supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff; manage schedules and staffing levels.
  • Food and quality control: monitor preparation, plating, temperature, and presentation; inspect for taste and visual appeal.
  • Inventory and cost control: manage inventory and waste to control costs.
  • Health and safety: enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Menu and events: assist executive chef with menu development for events and catering.
  • Communication and collaboration: coordinate with FOH, suppliers, and exec chef on goals.
