Citizens Bank is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for Colleague Technology to optimize third-party spend and strengthen partnerships with business lines. You will leverage market intelligence and data to drive strategic negotiations and improve overall value across software and hardware categories.

The role reports to the Sourcing Team Manager within Procurement and collaborates with a broad network of sourcing professionals and business partners to deliver measurable savings and risk management.

• Contribution to comprehensive commodity and sourcing strategies for strategic/complex negotiations.
• Ability to negotiate, including contract red lining for all types of corporate transactions using an Agile contracting framework.
• Working with Senior Sourcing Lead by performing market analysis, benchmark analysis and spend analysis for assigned commodity projects.
• Working with Line of Business partners to establish specifications for product/service being purchased.
• Lead or facilitate the supplier selection and negotiation process. Put in place contracts for strategic purchases.
• Maintaining close relations with the industry supply base and industry experts with the objective to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Sourcing Specialist, Colleague Technology

Citizens has recently transformed the sourcing experience to the business. In the role of Sourcing Specialist, you will be armed with key spend data, forward looking market intelligence and a fully integrated source to pay process, enabling you to be a strong strategic partner with business line executives. This will help you drive shorter cycle times, increased market intelligence, higher level strategic discussions and increased savings opportunities.

The Sourcing Specialist will report to the Sourcing Team Manager as part of the Sourcing Group within Procurement. The successful candidate will partner with other Sourcing professionals to identify market and economic trend opportunities and execute against them to continually improve the value derived from third party relationships. Primary focus is to align with the business lines in a way that generates a positive impact to them in achieving their business goals, while optimizing value to the overall organization.

The Sourcing Specialist will support the banks Colleague Technology category, including colleague specific software and hardware sub categories.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $82,000– $113,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience. No other portions of the posting are changing, including benefits language or incentive guidance.
