Job summary

SPX Flow is seeking a sourcing professional to implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy for its manufacturing plants. You will drive material and service sourcing aligned with the Annual Operating Plan, manage supplier performance, and ensure supply continuity across regions.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, working capital improvement, and compliance with export/import regulations. You will collaborate with Category Sourcing, Supplier Quality, and Engineering teams, lead negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of global sourcing experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing a spend portfolio over $10M.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible implementing a sourcing strategy for manufacturing plants within SPX Flow business. Establish and drive sourcing of material and services in alignment with business Leadership for your assigned commodity / category and/or region as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have NHS Business Unit (BU) responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost for BU, reduced Working capital via Negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your commodity/category and/or region and ensure supply continuity. You will be managing several projects in dynamic environment. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage Supplier selection, RFI and RFQ process, Negotiation, Contracting ( MPA, SA, etc.) and supplier performance processes;
• Ownership of supplier selection, price and terms management. Works collaboratively with Category Sourcing team on supplier selection where strategic suppliers are involved.
• Manage BU suppliers’ performance. Work collaboratively with Supplier Quality team on management of supplier scorecards. Gathers input from local Purchasing on supplier performance. Perform business review with supplier leadership; Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships;
• Maintenance of approved vendor list, info records and vendor master records for manufacturing sites.
• Identify, develop, manage and complete BU sourcing projects. Support/coordination of global strategic sourcing projects. Monitor & log sourcing savings performance for completed projects in Sourcing Savings Tracker.
• Participate in events for sourcing savings initiative development (e.g. Sourcing Kaizen, VA/VE tear down analysis, Supplier Innovation events, etc).
• Monitor & address inflationary issues for assigned commodity for BU globally. Market intelligent -Understanding of market situation and adjust BU assigned commodity sourcing strategy;
• Monitor and address PPV (Purchasing Price Variance) issue for assigned commodity;
• Performance & risk management of site suppliers, address sole source risk;
• Supply Chain Support of New Product Development and localization projects
• Works collaboratively with Supplier Quality team on qualification of new suppliers and FAQ.
• Improve Working Capital thru Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory and Lead time reductions
• Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations, and reporting as required
• Collaborates with Regional Sourcing, Category Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Planning, Legal, IT, Shared Services and Finance groups on achieving business unit goals.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

MUST HAVE

• Strong knowledge of ERP Systems and Microsoft Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PowerBI) with ability to perform Spend data analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Excellent communication skills – logical and organized
• High-level negotiation skills.
• Highly developed analytical skills with demonstrated creative problem-solving experience

Education And Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant sourcing work experience in global manufacturing company.
• Experience managing a portfolio of spend in excess of $10M.
