Job summary

ReNuke Services, Inc. seeks a Sourcing Specialist for our client’s site in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies for high-value equipment or services, and collaborating with key customers and suppliers to negotiate contracts.

The position requires strong experience in procurement, supplier management, and post-award activities, with a schedule that spans Monday through Thursday. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred, but not required.
• 10 years experience with degree, 14 years experience with no degree.
• 4-10 Mon - Thurs schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develops sourcing strategies along with key customers for complex high value equipment or services.
• Participates in cross functional teams to implement sourcing strategies and negotiates with middle, but primarily, upper level management of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses and negotiates and awards contracts and agreements.
• Performs purchase order and agreement maintenance including invoice mismatches, prices changes, etc.
• Maintains effective interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Manages post award supplier activities, settlements, claims or disputes.
• Maintains knowledge of commodities, sources of supply, diversity opportunities and market conditions that may impact future procurement.
