Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a senior sourcing professional to lead HR contract negotiations and end-to-end procurement strategy across recruitment, learning & development, benefits, mobility, and related HR services. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to optimize cost, compliance, and employee experience.

The role requires extensive experience in sourcing HR categories, supplier management, and complex agreements, with strong communication and leadership skills in a hybrid, US-based

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with sourcing roles and functions, including creating sourcing roadmaps, developing category strategies, licensing/asset management, risk management, and requirement change management
  • Demonstrated expertise sourcing vendors for HR categories, including recruiting, learning-and-development, benefit agencies, wellness programs, and mobility services.
  • Expertise in drafting, negotiating and interpreting sophisticated commercial agreements; Excellent negotiations and sourcing skills with understanding of different contract types
  • Build a supplier strategy for software contracts with the ability to manage licensing, maintenance, and support requirements
  • Collaboration with stakeholders in peer organizations and other operational areas to balance supplier requirements, customer experience and affordability
  • Demonstrated ability to understand financial information, budgets and program performance and develop strategies and business cases to improve performance in these areas
  • Business acumen to connect technical requirements and concerns to contract performance
  • Hands-on experience with Ariba (or similar product) to manage sourcing and contract activities (P2P)

Responsibilities

  • Drives contract requirements and negotiations.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and lead negotiations for HR contracts to ensure favorable terms aligned with RTX technical, financial, and performance objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders, aligning sourcing activity with strategic priorities.
  • Leads end-to-end sourcing activities, including requirements gathering, market analysis, RFx creation and management, supplier evaluations, and award recommendations.
  • Manages partnerships supporting recruitment agencies and headhunters to support global talent acquisition needs.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers for learning and development programs, including training providers, leadership development solutions, and e learning platforms.
  • Oversee supplier relationships related to benefits administration, employee wellness programs, and other HR services.
  • Manage relocation and mobility services contracts, including relationships with relocation firms and providers of immigration and expatriate services.
  • Create and execute category strategies balancing cost efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, GDPR, and applicable privacy regulations throughout the contracting and supplier engagement process.
  • Partner with HR consulting firms and global stakeholders (e.g., Singapore) to support international sourcing requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead calls across multiple time zones to support regional HR operations.
  • Aligns with stakeholders on vendor consolidation activities to drive contract savings
  • Facilitate supplier performance reviews, benchmarks & reporting
  • Build strong partnerships across various stakeholders (legal, finance, etc.)
  • Develop executive level analysis & presentations
  • Work with Stakeholders on benchmarking industry trends and changes, as requested.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on strategic vendor meetings and strategies.

The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation Team:

As part of the Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation team, this role will support business needs and projects across indirect categories, with an emphasis on HR categories, including recruiting, learning-and-development, benefits administration, wellness programs, mobility services, and employee onboarding/offboarding.

The ideal candidate will draw from past experience with various communications, marketing, and event management suppliers and can assist with translating this knowledge via contract negotiations and project management skills to lead the coordination, communication and integration of suppliers to support the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives. This individual will have an understanding of supplier products/services and develop various strategies to drive year on year cost savings to help RTX meet its bottom line.

An understanding of the end-to-end procurement process, from contract negotiations to requisition and PO placement is needed for this role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to develop effective presentations and present to leadership and peers.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
