Job summary

Planet Group is seeking a Sourcing - Manager for a 6-month, part-time engagement in Bridgewater, NJ. You will lead strategic sourcing efforts, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to deliver cost savings and value.

The role requires 8-10+ years in sourcing, expertise in RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, and knowledge of GMP/GLP/GDP and FDA regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop KPIs, and drive supplier risk assessments.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Industry experience in inhalation powders and medical devices, preferably with CDMOs and/or medical device manufacturers
• Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
• Expertise in supplier identification, evaluation, and qualification
• Experience with RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes
• Strong knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
• Experience with spend analysis and cost reduction initiatives
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and commercial terms
• Experience with supplier risk assessment and mitigation
