Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst in the United States to develop and execute sourcing strategies, analyze spend, and lead supplier negotiations for favorable commercial outcomes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast needs, manage sourcing projects, and drive continuous improvement across sourcing processes in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, or related field, or equivalent
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation, or supply chain operations
  • Strong analytical skills with spend analysis, market research, supplier assessments, and sourcing evaluations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, solve complex business problems, and influence stakeholders across levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while balancing priorities and delivering results

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, commodities, and projects to maximize value, reduce risk, and support objectives
  • Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, spend analysis, and competitive bid events
  • Lead supplier negotiations and support contract development and management activities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, forecast needs, and align supplier capabilities
  • Monitor industry trends, supplier performance metrics, and market conditions to identify improvements
  • Manage sourcing projects from planning through execution to meet timelines and goals
  • Support implementation and optimization of sourcing processes, tools, and systems
  • Provide guidance and mentorship within a collaborative sourcing team

About the Role

As a Sourcing Analyst - Senior, you will play a key role in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive value, optimize supplier performance, and support the organization's procurement objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will conduct market and spend analysis, manage sourcing initiatives, negotiate supplier agreements, and contribute to continuous improvement across sourcing and supplier management processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex sourcing activities with a high degree of independence.

What you will be doing
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, commodities, and projects to maximize supplier value, reduce risk, and support business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, supplier evaluations, spend analysis, and competitive bid events to identify sourcing opportunities and drive informed procurement decisions.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, support contract development and management activities, and ensure favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, forecast sourcing needs, and align supplier capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, supplier performance metrics, and market conditions to identify continuous improvement opportunities and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Manage sourcing projects and initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, objectives, and operational targets are achieved.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of sourcing processes, tools, and systems that improve efficiency, compliance, and procurement effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing sourcing organization.
What you will need
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, contract negotiation, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience conducting spend analysis, market research, supplier assessments, and sourcing evaluations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, solve complex business problems, and influence stakeholders across varying levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while balancing competing priorities and delivering results.
Added Bonus If You Have
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPM, or equivalent procurement and supply chain credentials.
  • Experience with sourcing, procurement, contract management, or spend analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale supplier management or strategic sourcing initiatives within a complex global organization.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $77,430.00 - $131,640.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
