You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvements in sourcing strategies, tracking spend, negotiating terms, and leading or supporting RFPs and contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/purchasing systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with urgency.
• Food industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to products, suppliers, and market trends.
• Track spend, item/project margins, and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and service.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing suppliers; identify and qualify new suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve best value.
• Lead or support sourcing projects, including RFPs, bid processes, and contract negotiations.
• Source and purchase goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specs.
• Review catalogs and industry sources to locate needed products from top sources.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
• Drive improvements in bidding and project management for sourcing initiatives.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance sourcing operations.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, quality, and finance to align sourcing needs and timelines.
• Onboard new suppliers and products, including sample requests and test result monitoring.
• Serve as a backup to the purchasing team.
