Job summary

Goodwill Industries-Manasota, Inc. is seeking a Port St. Lucie-based sorter/hanger to support the apparel team. You will gain knowledge of apparel categories, assess item quality and value, and ensure items are tagged, priced, and hung properly for sale.

Ideal candidates have a preferred high school diploma or GED and prior retail experience, with flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends in a full-time store environment in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing.

THE POSITION:

As a member of our Apparel team, you will:

• Obtain a general knowledge of apparel categories and sizing
• Determine quality and value of items to be sold in the store
• Provide quality assurance by checking items for imperfections
• Price, size, and tag apparel and linens according to type
• Hang salable goods on racks
