Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Decatur, GA is seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage sorting, packing, and delivery coordination. You will supervise temporary staff, monitor inventory, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with drivers and teams to ensure timely, accurate operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience with package sorting, order fulfillment, inventory management, or other warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a strong plus.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong adaptability and willingness to support different operational needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort packages by ZIP code and routes for accurate parcel processing.
• Supervise temporary workers and train on sorting procedures.
• Coordinate truck dispatch and support inbound/outbound deliveries.
• Design and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency.
• Track exception cases (damaged, lost, delayed, misrouted) and coordinate resolutions.
• Maintain inventory records and perform stock checks.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and minor repairs.
• Ensure warehouse operations meet safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized; support service quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Complete other operational tasks as directed by supervisors.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Sort packages by ZIP code and designated delivery routes to ensure accurate and efficient parcel processing
• Supervise temporary workers during daily sorting operations and provide training on sorting procedures and best practices
• Coordinate truck dispatch and support smooth inbound and outbound delivery operations
• Design and optimize delivery routes for drivers to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs
• Track and manage exception cases, including damaged, lost, delayed, or incorrectly routed parcels, and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine stock checks
• Perform basic equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs as needed
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with company safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and support overall service quality
• Complete other operational tasks and assignments as directed by supervisors
