Job summary

Alter Trading in Greeley, CO is seeking a Full Time Production employee. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, with training provided. The role involves identifying and sorting ferrous metals, and performing yard duties around the conveyor.

Ferrous

• Identifies and sorts different kinds of metal.
• Sorts material according to customer specifications.
• General clean up i.e. weeping/shoveling around conveyer.
• Other responsibilities as assigned or required.

Safety:

Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times. Failure to follow safety requirements may result in loss of position.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be able to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.

Prior experience operating heavy machinery preferred but not required as we will train candidates. Some mechanical aptitude necessary. Will use hand tools for minor repairs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 30-50 lbs and 100+lbs on 2-person lift.
