Amazon Sortation Center is hiring a Warehouse Associate to sort, scan, and stack customer orders by zip code for delivery. You’ll be on your feet, lifting and moving packages throughout your shift in a climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities include receiving inventory, sorting from conveyors, and loading/unloading trailers with the help of scanners and handheld devices. Training is provided on-site with potential overtime depending on demand.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older
• Understand and follow instructions in the required language
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• You must be able to pass a job assessment in English
• Team lift packages above 50 pounds or greater than 90 inches
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear such as personal protective equipment (PPE) to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Use step stool
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)

• Use technology like scanners, computers, and handheld printer
• Unload containers and packages from trailers
• Load containers and packages into trailers
