Job summary

Amazon is seeking a warehouse associate at a Sortation Center to sort, scan, and stack customer orders by ZIP code. You will handle packages on a fast-paced floor, using scanners and handheld printers, with on-the-job training and potential overtime.

Expect standing and walking for long periods, lifting up to 49 pounds, and working across varied shifts including early morning, day, evening, and overnight. Safety gear is provided and the site operates 24/7 where applicable.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Understand and follow instructions in English
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Pass a job assessment in English
• Team lift packages above 50 pounds or greater than 90 inches
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and PPE to move items around
• Go up and down stairs where applicable
• Use step stool
• Work at heights up to 40 feet on mezzanine where applicable

Responsibilities

• Receive inventory and sort by zip code
• Sort packages from conveyor belts
• Stack packages and wrap pallets for deliveries
• Use scanners, computers, and handheld printer
• Unload containers and packages from trailers
• Load containers and packages into trailers
