Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering a Sophomore Audit Intern position. You will participate in planning, controls testing, attending and minuting audit meetings, and reporting under guidance from Internal Audit.

As a Sophomore intern, you will have access to the Data Analytics team for analysis and presentation, work on special projects, and engage in department events. Eligibility requires at least freshman year and strong analytic, communication skills.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in banking, business, economics, public policy or finance with strong academics.
• Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Comfort with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Acrobat.
• Ability to execute audit procedures and testing for control compliance.
• Strong analytical skills to understand processes and identify improvements.

Responsibilities

• The role includes planning, controls testing, attending and minuting audit meetings with clients, and reporting.
• Where applicable, collaborate with Internal Audit’s Data Analytics team to analyze and present audit information.
• Support special projects by conducting research and organizing information.
• Participate in team events within the department.
