Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a vascular technologist to coordinate and perform procedures at Methodist Physicians Clinic - West Dodge Medical Plaza in Omaha, NE. The schedule is Tue–Thu 8am–4:30pm, 24 hours per week, with a $2500 sign-on bonus.
You will obtain patient history, acquire images for physician interpretation, educate patients, log and bill in Cerner, and collaborate with IT/Biomed to maintain equipment. ARDMS/RVT/RDCS certification within 1 year is required.

Work Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, 24hrs/week
Sign on bonus of $2500.00
Coordinates and performs vascular procedures.
Education: Successful completion of an accredited vascular or echocardiogram technical program (2 year program) required. Experience: 2 years of clinical experience in field of vascular or echo and board registered preferred.
License/Certifications: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or board eligible required. Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS required within one year of employment. Certification or registry in an accredited society within one year of employment to continue employment required.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and family members as well as hospital personnel and coworkers. Ability to effectively organize work in order to perform several tasks at once.
