Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, NC seeks an imaging technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist, Cardiologist or Surgeon. The role supports multiple modalities such as X-ray and CT, with on-the-job training to reach full proficiency.

Graduate from an accredited radiologic or CT/MRI or nuclear medicine program with current ARRT/ARDMS/CMNT registration and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic/CT/MRI/nuclear medicine/sonography program.
• Current ARRT, ARDMS, or CMNT registration.
• BCLS certification.
• If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.
• No previous experience required; training will bring you to full proficiency within three months.

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic technology program or Computed Tomography/Magnetic Resonance technology program or Nuclear Medicine technology program or Sonography technology program.

Current ARRT, or ARDMS, or CMNT registration.

BCLS certification.

If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date.

Required Work Experience

No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in all aspects of the position within three months of employment date.

Radiologic technologist competent and performing 2 modalities X-ray or Mammography or Lithotripsy or CT.

Nuclear Medicine technologist with 1 registry.

CVL or US technologist with 1 or 2 registries.

CT or MR technologist only competent and performing 1 modality
