Job summary

Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA seeks a per diem Sonographer to support outpatient, inpatient and ED imaging. Under supervision, you’ll perform high-quality ultrasound exams and select procedures across abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, vascular, breast and small parts.

Candidates with 1 year of experience are preferred, RDMS certified or to be obtained within 6 months, and BLS certified. Per diem hours rotate; on-site parking is available and benefits include tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• RDMS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor and Radiologist, performs a variety of high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and special procedures.
• Exams include abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, breast and other small parts evaluations.
• Special procedures include fine needle aspirations, breast core biopsies, and wire localization (training available).
