Job summary

Women's Care in Brandon, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations including routine and specialized OB/GYN scans. You will document findings, ensure high image quality, and maintain patient-focused care in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires ARDMS OB/GYN certification, at least 2 years of OB/GYN experience, and proficiency with 3D-4D imaging, all while upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OBGYN experience.
• Experience with 3D-4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed.

• Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines.
• Completes fetal surveys.
• Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans.
• Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image.
• Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities.
• Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
