JOB SUMMARY

JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS

$5,000 Sign-on bonus!*

Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)

Education:

• Associate degree in Science or Allied Health Field required (Nursing, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technologist, etc.) - required
• Must be:
• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer (RCDS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 6 months of hire;
• If not already trained in vascular scans, must be agreeable to cross-train and take one of the following vascular registry exams within 2 years of employment:
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS),
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

Certification & Licensures:

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.

Experience:

• Competency in the science and art of ultrasound technology.
• One year working experience - preferred.
