The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, independently conducting ultrasound procedures, documenting findings, and supporting image-guided interventions such as biopsies and drainages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
• Perform and document ultrasound examinations accurately.
• Conduct studies independently, including portable and on-call exams, at various sites as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
• Vascular and obstetric ultrasound experience preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
• Licenses such as RDCS or similar are advantageous.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Position requires RVT registry within one year of hire.
• Call, holiday, and weekend rotations are part of the schedule.
