Job summary

Home Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams on patients as ordered by physicians in an ethical and professional manner.

You will assist in all aspects of the Radiology and Ultrasound Department, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Strong ARDMS registration and excellent interpersonal skills are essential to interact with patients, families, and staff in various situations.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered in Abdomen, OB/GYN or Vascular.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
• Strong communication with physicians and staff in various situations.
• Ability to think and act quickly in stressful environments.
• Maintain working knowledge of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Education / Skills Required:

• Must be registered by the American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in any of the following disciplines: Abdomen, OB/GYN or Vascular.
• Requires sufficient sensitivity and interpersonal skills in dealing with apprehensive patients and family in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Requires positive and effective communicating skills for interaction with physicians and staff in any situation.
• Requires the ability to think and act quickly in order to deliver efficient quality care in a variety of stressful situations.
• Must maintain a working knowledge of all ultrasound equipment.
