Job summary

Connective Wellness LLC in Amherst, NH is seeking a part-time Somatic Therapist to provide body-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy to individual clients in a hybrid in-person/telehealth setting. You will blend somatic modalities with talk therapy to help clients process trauma and build regulation skills, while maintaining your NH license.

The role requires ongoing clinical documentation, collaboration with the clinical team, and adherence to HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Active NH license in good standing as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or license-eligible with associate supervision.
• Formal training in somatic/body-based modality or willingness to obtain within hire period.
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security requirements for telehealth.
• Ability to maintain confidential patient information in-person and via telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual (and group where appropriate) somatic psychotherapy in person and via secure telehealth.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Integrate body-based techniques alongside talk therapy with client consent.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in EHR in compliance with HIPAA and NH laws.
• Comply with NH reporting requirements for abuse and lawsuit-related reporting as applicable.
• Assess risk and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing continuing education.
• Coordinate with referring providers, billing, and front-office staff as needed.
