Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a production operator to run the SAL solventless laminator with emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will load, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the laminator while ensuring proper documentation and labeling for SQF compliant production.

The role requires reading orders, SOPs, and tickets, maintaining clean work areas, and collaborating with team members to meet daily goals and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret SOPs.
• Basic computer and math skills for production data entry.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate SAL (solventless-adhesive-laminator) safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload rolls with lift assist and handle printed/non-printed stock.
• Interpret orders, SOPs, and print tickets; log production data accurately.
• Attach labels and maintain SQF/GMP compliant records.
• Identify defects quickly and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Support maintenance and clean-down procedures as needed.
• Complete tasks within daily production targets.
