Job summary

Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help enterprise customers in Canada connect complex business and technical challenges to practical outcomes with Glean. You will partner with Account Executives across the sales cycle, leading discovery, tailored demonstrations, and security conversations.

You will work with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and develop ROI analyses and business cases that connect technical fit to customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales engineering, solutions engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives on technical sales cycles with enterprise customers.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customers to understand goals, workflows, requirements, stakeholders, and success criteria.
• Create and demonstrate tailored customer environments based on industry and use cases.
• Plan and manage technical proofs of concept (POCs) with defined scope and success criteria.
• Lead customer-facing technical discussions, including security conversations, to address questions and build confidence in Glean’s security posture.

About the Role:

Glean is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help enterprise customers in Canada connect complex business and technical challenges to practical outcomes with Glean. You will partner with Account Executives across the sales cycle, leading discovery, tailored demonstrations, technical evaluations, security conversations, and business-value discussions.

You will:

• Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles, including executive stakeholders.
• Lead technical discovery with customers to understand business goals, workflows, technical requirements, stakeholders, and success criteria.
• Create and demonstrate tailored customer environments based on industry, line of business, and customer use cases.
• Plan and manage technical proofs of concept (POCs), aligning scope, success criteria, and next steps with customers.
• Lead customer-facing technical discussions, including security conversations, to address questions and build confidence in Glean’s security posture.
• Work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback, support customer requests, and represent the voice of the customer.
• Develop ROI analyses, business cases, and presentations that connect technical fit to customer outcomes.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Consulting at a SaaS company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with Account Executives on technical sales cycles with enterprise customers.
• A consultative approach to solving customer business challenges, with a track record of addressing technical and security objections.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Ability to configure, monitor, and maintain API-based integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A motivated, self-starting approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Location:

• This role is remote and must be based in Canada.

Compensation & Benefits:

The standard on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $145,000–$220,000 annually (USD). Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
