Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Solutions Architect / Senior FAE (Signal Integrity Focus) to drive SI initiatives from concept to deployment. You will serve as the primary technical advisor for customers and partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams to deliver high-speed interconnect solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in SI, hands-on VNA testing, and strong communication skills to articulate complex results to customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Signal Integrity, applications engineering, field applications engineering, or related customer-facing role.
• Experience supporting customers in connector, cable assembly, high-speed interconnect, or system hardware industries.
• Strong expertise in Signal Integrity modeling and simulation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical lead and trusted advisor for customer programs from initial engagement through production deployment.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering, product, and connectivity solutions.
• Lead Signal Integrity activities involving high-speed connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect systems.
• Support multiple customer programs simultaneously while driving technical milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, testing, and product teams to address customer needs.
• Conduct system-level modeling, analysis, and correlation of electrical performance data.
• Troubleshoot connector, cable assembly, and system-level signal integrity issues.
• Perform and interpret VNA measurements, electrical testing, and SI simulation results.
• Communicate complex technical findings and recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.

Piper Companies is seeking a Solutions Architect / Senior FAE (Signal Integrity Focus) to join a leading organization within the high-speed connectivity and interconnect solutions industry. The Solutions Architect / Senior FAE (Signal Integrity Focus) will serve as the primary technical advisor for customers, leading Signal Integrity initiatives from concept through deployment while partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams. This role is ideal for a senior-level customer-facing professional with deep expertise in signal integrity, cable assemblies, connector technologies, and high-speed system architecture.

Responsibilities of the Solutions Architect / Senior FAE (Signal Integrity Focus):

• Serve as the primary technical lead and trusted advisor for customer programs from initial engagement through production deployment.
• Translate customer requirements into engineering, product, and connectivity solutions.
• Lead Signal Integrity (SI) activities involving high-speed connectors, cable assemblies, and interconnect systems.
• Support multiple customer programs simultaneously while driving technical milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, testing, and product teams to address customer needs.
• Conduct system-level modeling, analysis, and correlation of electrical performance data.
• Troubleshoot connector, cable assembly, and system-level signal integrity issues.

• Act as the voice of Signal Integrity and electrical testing throughout customer engagements.
• Support customer visits, technical reviews, manufacturing interactions, and on-site troubleshooting activities as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to SI methodologies, testing, and automation.

Qualifications of the Solutions Architect / Senior FAE (Signal Integrity Focus):

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in Signal Integrity, applications engineering, field applications engineering, solutions architecture, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Experience supporting customers within the connector, cable assembly, high-speed interconnect, or system hardware industries.
• Strong expertise in Signal Integrity modeling and simulation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measurements and electrical characterization.
• Background in connector design, cable assembly design, and high-speed interface technologies.
• Experience performing system-level modeling and performance analysis.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex signal integrity and electrical performance challenges.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to support product development and production.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple customer programs with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting AI infrastructure, data center hardware, networking platforms, or high-performance computing environments is preferred.
• Exposure to SI automation, scripting, AI-assisted development tools, or test design methodologies is a plus.
