The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. AWS Solutions Architects collaborate with AWS Sales and other AWS teams to help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. As a trusted customer advocate, Solutions Architects help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and provide advice on migrating workloads to the cloud. You’ll help drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through education, training, design and building cloud solutions.

You will have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build deep adoption of AWS within your enterprise customers by mobilizing resources within AWS and working with our extensive partner network.

Key responsibilities

• Travel is mostly regional, and is expected to be 15-20%.

Day in the life

You will work with enterprise account team architects to help Enterprise customers accelerate their cloud implementation and modernize their business on AWS. You will help transform existing workloads by designing modern target architectures optimized for business agility, innovation, performance, resiliency, cost, and security using native and partner solutions. The team focuses on understanding customer key business drivers and existing application architectures to deliver technical recommendations that scale with the business.
